About Real Estate Advisor Sarah
I'm originally from the East Coast of the United States, and that's where I got my start as a profitable property investor and mentor, working with real estate investments firms, in the DC metro area. I first got into real estate around 2002, just by reading and studying real estate and finance books, in my free time. That was over 23 years ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about real estate since then.
Soon after that, I began putting together profitable real estate deals, networking with other investors and traveling around the world, which led me to eventually settle in Australia where I've been living since 2012.

"I bought my very first home with almost no money and bad credit. Back then I was an overspender, because that's a habit that I'd learned from those around me, and I hadn't yet developed the financial discipline to save money. During the time I had good credit, I very easily was able to get credit cards and store cards which allowed me to buy now and pay later. So, I would just shop, shop, shop and the bills piled up quicker than I could pay them.
Also, I had been dropping thousands of dollars on rent and decided that I didn't want to feel like I was wasting my money on rent payments. I had to own something.... my own home. I began my home search feeling hopeful. And I soon found a super charming, rambler style house with a full basement situated on about half an acre inside a gated lake community.

In the front yard, there was a lovely gazebo with a wooden deck that led up to the front door. It added so much visual appeal to the home it was like someone built it just for me because they knew I'd adore it.... it made me smile every time I looked at it. The house was located in a quiet cul-de-sac which made the land around it feel even more private, secluded and enjoyable for family life.
My favorite feature was a picturesque bay window in the master bedroom. I had always wanted a house with a bay window because I love to read and I knew that I'd use it as a window seat and fully indulge in my reading times. When I saw that beautiful bay window, I knew it was my house. It just had to be for me.... I could feel it. This house was totally my style and it was totally in alignment with what I'd imagined my home life would be.
This amazingly cute and cozy home was my haven by the lake and it was kinda like heaven.
So, obviously I moved on it fast. I immediately contacted my buyer's agent and together we wrote up the offer. My offer was quickly accepted by the seller and I was extremely thrilled. Through some savvy negotiations, and after I found the right lender, I was able to purchase that home for 100% financing and I even got cash back at closing. It was a no money down deal! Yes, I walked away from the closing table with a check made out to me and the keys to my own house.
And now following another passion that I have, as a flourishing Real Estate Advisor, I'm helping home buyers, sellers and investors to achieve their property goals the smart way. That glowing feeling that I had when I bought my dream home is the fuel that lights my fire. And I want to help other people to feel that amazing while they’re buying their own home too.
